Project Description
Let Me See is an experimental OCR prototype that explores the difference between reading, recognizing, and understanding. The system compares an image with reference characters and gives a result based on visual similarity. But reading involves more than recognizing a letter; it also involves understanding and interpreting meaning. Instead of simply showing an answer, the machine hesitates, uses humor, and asks the user for feedback. These simple behaviors can make a basic pattern-matching process feel more human and more complex than it actually is.
